We’ve commissioned a truckload of cool articles to celebrate the revamp of IAHGames.com. For a start, we present the (belated) Gamer Girl (GG) of FEB 2010… Sarah. She’s been our booth babe for a number of IAHGames events, and is an avid Dragonica player. Scroll down and read about what gets her heart racing...

I’m bubbly, friendly and I don’t really turn nasty even if you step on my tail. I laugh a lot. But yet at the same time I can tear at almost anything. I believe that love is what keeps our hearts beating. Almost anything can make me happy… from simple things like indulging in ice-cream to receiving sweet surprises by my friends and loved ones! 

Of all the unpleasant things in the world, I hate being lied to. I mean, who likes to be lied to right? Don’t try to get me upset alright. I swear I’ll bite! *munch*

Lara’s my gal

I don’t think a person should be defined by his/her job but what kind of character that he/she possesses. I would want to be a person with goals, who knows what I want in life; to be a person who is filled with love, sincerity and faith; to be a person who is able to be relied and trusted upon. A person solely, uniquely me.

My favourite game character would be the Tomb Raider, Lara Croft! She’s fun, sexy and lives a life filled with excitement and danger. I doubt I’d ever get a shot at life at that, with guns, bombs and whatnot. KABOOM!

The games I play

I first began gaming when my brother introduced to me the game “Red Alert.” It was way back then. (I was quite a tom-boy when I was young *chuckles*) Since then, I’ve been interested in online games and kept myself updated.

Personally I’ve tried Dragonica and would rate it among one of my favourites! (I still play it now. You can try finding me in Kaye. Teehee!) I love the cute graphics in the game, objectives and challenging quests. I am a girl who loves challenges as I believe with challenges come motivation.

Besides Dragonica, I’ve played Ragnorok, AuditionSEA, Warcraft (DOTA) and not forgetting L4D! All of them get my heart racing if I’m playing.

Apart from games, I love shopping –  a girl’s best friend. You can spot me mostly in town… if you can. *chuckes*. At other times, I do love long walks along the beach, feeling the cool breeze in my hair. I can be sentimental too, you know?

Chef Sarah tends to lose her wallet

My most memorable date would be the day where I had a candlelight dinner at home prepared by my date and I. Yes, me, Chef Sarah. It was fun! On the other end of the spectrum, my most disastrous date would be that time I lost my precious Louis Vuitton wallet. We spent so much time looking for it and it totally ruined the mood. Silly me!  That was a horrible experience!

Sentimental guys and gamer guys impress me

I love guys who are sincere and dote on their loved ones unconditionally. I also think guys who tear up are cute! Guys, please do not think crying for someone means you’re not a man or something. Sooo not true! And I would definitely like a guy who honours his promises and respects me.

Most people stereotype guys who game as geeks or nerds, but I beg to differ. Sometimes, I do get amazed by gamer guys who know their stuff well (eg: Changing of guns in Counter Strike at lightning speed) and think that they’re pretty cool and charming!

However, we should balance life online and offline. Guys, don't keep your eyes stuck to the screen!

OK to marry in-game, but…

I do have my online characters coupled with other characters in the game. In-game marriages are very sweet and adorable. However, I would still strongly discourage giving any personal information through the game. Cases of girls who have been tricked by men online have been on the rise. So be smart and wary to protect yourselves! ;)
